This ambulance is operated by Pope County Emergency Medical Services. I ran into it near a local fast-food establishment prior to a patient transfer.

EMS 134, like all ambulances run by Pope County, is an ALS rig. It usually operates out of the City of Dover.

Russellville Fire/Rescue and Pope County EMS on-scene at a possible drug overdose.

Russellville Police were unable to locate a patient, so Fire and EMS went back into service. Subsequently, 911 was notified that the patient had fled the scene before authorities' arrival because he believed he had warrants and was now running through the area. After a brief foot pursuit, the subject was apprehended by officers of the Russellville Police Department.

At that time, EMS and Fire were re-toned for a patient evaluation. The subject was arrested on another jurisdiction's warrant and transported to the Pope County Detention Center.

Engine 4 is at left; ALS 131 is to the right. Squad 1 responded to the second call-out.
